Few days before ALL STAR GAME we bring you interview with coach of NORTH STARS. With Krzysztof Ząbkiewicz (Niedzwiadki Sanok) we spoke mostly about ALL STAR GAME.

We already know nominees for both STARS TEAM for few days. Now we are interested which players you chose to "opening line" and who is going to be a captain of your team?

We will start with goalie Gombár Miroslav, in front of him as defenders FLORCZAK Bartosz and Matúš Šeba and forwards KIZLO Roman, PANCHENKO Yaroslav and DOBOSZ Szymon. Last named Syzmon will be also a captain of my team.

Have you ever been as a part of ALL STAR GAME before, as coach or player?

I never take part in ALL STAR GAME, but in Sanok I played as "oldboys" in charity game that helps to get money for hospitals in Poland.

League management chose you as the coach of SOUTH STARS TEAM, what it means to you?

I am very happy for that. It is a honor for me and I am glad, that I will be part of this game. For me it is also new coaching experience. I would like to thanks to League management to chose me on this position.

In your team you will have players from 3 countries, how you will communicate with them?

During my player career and as a coach as well, I had a chance to work with players and coaches from Slovakia, Russia, Belarus, Finland and USA, and we always find a way to comunicate. I believe that also in this game we will be as one big hockey family and we will use our common "hockey language" and we will have no problems to understand each other.

You chose as the team captain Syzmon Dobosz from your team, Sanok. Why?

I chose Szymon as a captain because I know him. He is a great player and great leader of the team. He works hard in practice and games and his play is on highl level during whole season.  Other players in our team love him and accept him as a leader. Also his communication with me as a coach is very professional.

Do you expected "real" game or you think it will be more exhibition and fun?

I hope, that it will be more fun then "real" game. I would like if players will play technical and combination hockey, hockey interested for their fans.

In your team you will have also your club president from Sanok Marcin Cwikla. You will use him on ice as much as possible, or you let him sitting on the sub-bench?

Marcin was and I think he still is a hockey star in Sanok, so he has to be on ice as often as possible. But "oldboys" lines have in this game special rules of playing, so I will see how often I could use him during the game :)

Which result of the game will satisfy you?

If I read roster of my team, I am not affraid about the result. But seriously, the result is not important. Most important aim of this game is to create "one team, one family" of all participants in the Carpathian youth hockey league. Integration of the League and building its prestige is our common goal.
