Carpathian Junior Hockey League is proud to announce the next club of 2021/2022 season! LKH Lodz joined CJHL and will participate in U14 category.
Łódzki Klub Hokejowy (Ice hockey Club of Lodz) was established in 1994 and it continues the tradition of an ice hockey team that operated within the oldest sports club in Lodz ŁKS between 1929 and 1991.
"We aim to promote sports activities with the respect of fair play manners. We are looking forward to the challenge of competing with other teams from Poland and East European countries. We are not sure if we'll win but we are certain we won't give in. Looking forward to seeing you at ice rinks soon," said Tomasz Grobelkiewicz, LKH Lodz club president.
LKH will expand the representation of Polish clubs in CJHL. Its U14 already participated in last season, when CJHL Poland qualification tournaments were played.
"Poland teams are closely connected with CJHL. First it was Sanok, as one of the founding clubs, later Nowy Targ and Jastrzebie. In all of them, we found serious partners focused on their players development. We hope, team from Lodz will become an integral part of the competition for next seasons," added Krzysztof Czech, CJHL Board of Directors member.
