Stowarzyszenie Sportowe KTH Krynica-Zdrój, 2024/2025 Champion of Carpathian Junior Hockey League U15!
Few days ago ended the ninth and the longest season of Carpathian Junior Hockey League! Started in the end of August and just during the Easter holidays, we found out last CJHL winner. Finale tournament of U15 category was on schedule in Michalovce, April 17-19. Eight best teams of regular season met there. During three days we saw 20 games, with finale game on Saturday evening.
On the first day, games between teams on the same position after regular season, but from different groups were on schedule. Each team played 2 games. "These games allowed us to compare the quality of teams from different groups, as they had not played each other during the season. Teams from the same groups didn´t played together in this phase of the Finale tournament, as they already played enough mutual games during the season," explained Peter Kločanka, CJHL director. Teams alslo brought with them bonification points from regular season according their placement after the third round. "After couting points achieved during the first day and bonification points, we obtained ranking for the quarterfinal. Couples for qurterfinal were also choosed in accordance with criteria, to play with unique oponent," continued CJHL director.

Final game... Such a great finale it was! Teams KTH Krynica-Zdrój and Kárpáti Farkasok, both from "red" group, met in the finale. We saw great performance in front of great audience. Young polish players had before the last game negative balance in games against Farkasok from regular season (3:4so, 1:4, 1:4). But all of this was past already. Game brought fast, tactic, chances on both side. After 40 minutes it was 1:1 and game continued with shootouts. KTH captain Lukasz FEREK shown strongest nerves and with 2 scored goals brought his team to CJHL Champion title! Kárpáti Farkasok - KTH Krynica-Zdrój 1:2 so
