SANOK DID IT!
Saturday, February 21, became a great date in Carpathian Junior Hockey League history! The new spectators record was established! As we informed you earlier, Niedzwiadki Sanok tried to attempt CJHL spectators record. They tried to do it on Saturday´s evening game against HC Dnipro 2011, during the third round of CJHL U15.
The old record was set in Krynica-Zdrój on November 23, 2024. The home club KTH Krynica-Zdrój attracted to arena 350 spectators.
Whats about Sanok? 423! Yes, 423 spectators on CJHL game! 423 fans watched game between Niedzwiadki Sanok and HC Dnipro (4:5). This is new attendance record on CJHL game!
"Of course, if it is going about record, the main thing is to overcome the old one. But this was not our only target. Our point was, to get players involved in it. Home team players had to address as much people as they can and invite them for a game. And as we can see, the did well," said Peter Kločanka, CJHL director and continued: "We wanted to motivated them, so we promised some valuable prices for three of them with highest number of fans. The same we did before in Krynica-Zdrój and Prievidza."
All fans, coming for a game, reported which player invited them. After counting of all votes, we had winners! Most fans were attracted by Maksym Paskiewicz (53). Second "place" belongs to Oskar Bator (50) and the third to Kacper Suchecki (27). Those three players got from CJHL management prices in total value of 400 EUR.

"Old record was "broken"! All players of Niedzwiadki did great job! As well as club management. So our thanks belongs to all of them. Also to all people who came to the Arena and became a part of this special moment. 423 is very nice number for youth hockey in Europe. We have new record, but I hope it is not final number and in close future we will push its limit even higher," closed CJHL director.
