Carpathian Junior Hockey League, in cooperation with organizing clubs and CJHL partners prepared competition for "Attendance record of CJHL". Clubs organising second round competed in this contest, it means Debrecen, Novoyavorivsk and Sanok. The point of the competition was to attract the most spectators on their teams match.

"We decided to prepare this competition to get more people to the arenas during the juniors games. We think that also this age category could offer exciting experience for hockey fans," said Peter Kločanka, CJHL director.

Clubs have choosen the game, in which they try to achieve record. Debrecen choosen game against Sanok. We counted 150 spectators on this game. The home team brought them joy with a 4:0 victory.

"We tried to promote this event in different ways. Our effort bring to the arena around 150 spectators. Maybe it is not too much, but I think for us it is good number. Usually we have on games of this age category around 30-50 people. This time I saw in our arena lot of "new faces" and I hope they will find way to our games also in the close future," said Prakab János, DHK manager.

Niedzwiadki in Sanok mobilized their relatives and friends for a match against Kryzhynka Kiev. Almost 260 spectators came to the arena and they witnessed a tight loss, 3:4.

"We would like to thanks especially the parents of our players. They tried to reach as much friends and hockey fans in Sanok as possible. Finally, there was 255 spectators on the match with Kryžynka, what I think is not bad for this age category," said Michal Radwanski, the president of the club and continued, "Hockey in our city has a tradition. As evidenced of it, are high numbers of spectators on the games of our senior team. But hockey in Sanok is not just about seniors. Therefore, we will try to work in the club in such a way, that will attract more people also to the games of our young Niedzwiadki, to enjoy also junior and youth level of hockey."

The third club that tried for the spectators record was Halycké Levy. In Novoyavorivsk, 275 spectators found their way to the arena. They saw an interesting duel between the two, currently best teams of Eagles division, blue group. Home team palyers and their fans enjoyed the 5:4 victory. Now, they can also celebrate winning in the "CJHL Attendance Record" contest!

"We are pleased that so many fans came to our arena. The club in Novoyavorivsk is a young club, just with a ten-year history. However, we have achieved several successes in a short time, including victories in the Carpathian Junior Hockey League. We are pleased to be a part of this international League and to host CJHL tournaments. We are very happy to winning the record contest, but we also congratulate our "rivals" to Debrecen and Sanok, where they also managed to make a nice visit, "said Mykhailo Chikantsev, vice president of Halycki Levy. "Our victory was very tight. After all, there were only 20 spectators less in Sanok. In consideration of our long time good relationship with club from Sanok, as well as an expression of our respect for their fans, we decided to donate some of the prizes from this contest to the young Niedzwiadki," added Mr. Chikantsev, who is also the club's Head coach.

"We wanted to motivate clubs to work harder to bring more people to their games. We hope, they will continue in this. We thanks to all of those, who were trying to achieve the best result. Also to all people that came to the arenas to support their teams. We also would like to thank our partners who donate valuable prizes for the winning club," added Peter Kločanka, CJHL director.

Thanks to the sponsors, Halycké Levy can look forward to valuable prizes. Company A4ka will reward the winning team with T-shirts and baseball caps with a club motives. From JOMA SPORT it will be a set of tracksuit, and finally from MULTI SPORT a set of off-ice training aids.

"In addition to the spectator's visit, we were also pleased by the gesture of the Halycke Levy. It is a proof of great friendship and good relationship between CJHL participants. Sports rivalry has place exclusively on ice. As we can see on this example, our slogan "25 teams, 9 countries, 1 hockey family" is not just an empty phrase," concluded CJHL vice president, Oleg Moller.
